Short Bio
Professor Åke Rasmuson Is a Professor of Industrial Chemistry & Chemical Engineering at the University of Limerick, Ireland. His research interests include the fundamentals of crystallisation; solid-liquid phase equilibrium, particle design and technology and modelling and control of crystallisation processes.
Professor Rasmuson has consulted with several global industry partners, including AstraZeneca and Nycomed and has co-authored 30 reports on industrial cooperation with 19 different companies.

Professor Rasmuson is the author of 200 publications and has been cited > 2,200 times.In 2015, he was awarded the Material & Surface Science Institute (MSSI), University of Limerick Research Award for most Web of Science Journal Papers published in 2014 with impact factor greater than 1.5.  This was his 3rd consecutive award.
